KMP Expressway in an ambitious project which is slated to provide high speed connectivity on the outer peripheral of Delhi connecting Kundli to Manesar to Palwal. The expressway is also known as Western Peripheral Expressway. The expressway is stretched at around 135 kilometers encompassing the areas like Sonipat and Gurgaon. There are currently delays in the project and it is expected to be completed by next year. Once completed, it will reduce the traveling time from Sonipat to Gurgaon drastically to 40 minutes which is now approximately 2 hours by road.

Along with excellent connectivity to other NCR areas the project will bring along many new business opportunities and pollution solutions for Delhi itself as maximum of traffic will bypass Delhi through this expressway meaning less pollution that is why the Delhi government is also supporting this project. There is also a global corridor being planned along this expressway to set up businesses in it.
